One more thought on auction gifts
When we buy something at the festival, we’re making a contribution to MCC; the item we take home is like a thank you for our contribution. What we spend isn’t tax deductible unless it exceeds the value of the item.
But! When we give an item to the auction, that gift to MCC is tax deductible. More important, it helps create a fun event for everyone, attracting more and more people to the festival and giving them the opportunity to learn about MCC’s work around the world.
MCC needs creative and generous auction contributors!
